I would never call it one of the top 10 movies i've ever seen, but it is definitely one of my top 10 favorite movies. It's a movie that if you haven't watched, you haven't lived. It's one of the most defining Christmas movies with values and life lessons entrenched in the plot. It's just such a fun movie that everyone will love even if they don't think its a great movie in and of itself. It's kind of hard to explain, but you just have to watch this movie if you've never seen it. In the Eighties, John Hughes churned out a handful of movies and scored many, many hits.
